Marzanna's Blazing Heart

To those unfortunate enough to find themselves crossing the Breadbasket in winter, tales of the village of Marzanna were once like woolen mittens. A communal stove of celebration behind iridescent walls of living dream that not even the Rimewind would dare breach. The dream glass that protected Marzanna breathed new life into onlookers’ haze-washed memories and granted them a window through the seasons.

As winter’s clutch tightened in the year of the 29th expedition, however, rumors began to circulate of dream glass walls gone black.

Marzanna's Blazing Heart is a winter village location and adventure for the Cloud Empress RPG. It was created for the Cloud Empress Winter Jam in 2025. Inside, wardens will find new characters, items, and a village in peril amidst an icy Breadbasket winter.
